Admission Guidelines

Rules Governing Admission Procedure

1. Applications from eligible candidates made in the prescribed form only will be considered.
2. Application form will be issued in the name of the candidate seeking admission. It is not transferable.
3. Applicants must fill in the applications legibly in their own handwriting.
4. Applicants and their parents/guardians shall be solely responsible for the declarations made in the applications. If, at any time, it is found that an application is incorrect or inaccurate or incomplete, the student shall forfeit her seat.
5. Students should be accompanied by their parents or Guardian.
6. Late or incomplete applications or applications containing false information will be summarily rejected.
7. Interview card announcing the time and date of interview will be sent only to those provisionally selected for admission to the course applied for.
8. The provisionally selected candidate will have to present herself along with her parent/guardian for interview with the Principal on the date and time mentioned in the interview card.
9. The provisional admission will be automatically cancelled if the candidate fails to turn up for the interview on the specified date.
10. At the time of interview the candidates are to produce the following documents and Xerox copies (two) each:
    • Interview Card (Xerox)
    • Transfer and Conduct Certificates (original)
    • Mark List of the qualifying examination (Xerox)
    • Residence and Nativity Certificates (Xerox)
    • Community Certificate (Xerox)
    • Two Passport size photos, along with Parents or Guardian photos
11. Selected candidates must pay the fees immediately after the interview, if admission is confirmed.
12. No fees once paid will be refunded under any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

Fee Concessions

• SC/ST students are eligible for fee concession as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.
• BC/MBC students may apply for relevant government scholarships.
• Sports quota seats available for students with state/national level achievements.
• First generation learner benefits available as per university norms.
